My partner and I went to Emma and Nick to assist us pull out some PPOR equity to purchase shares. Emma shopped lenders for PPOR valuations, and we managed to pick a final lender that came in ~$150k above that contemplated by our previous broker based on a more generic approach. Access to capital is arguably more important than interest rate comparisons alone. Emma also negotiated with the lenders to cut some additional basis points from the initially quoted rates, and we will end up saving on the PPOR split of our loan despite increased LVR (notwithstanding the recent RBA rate rise).
